Marcus McCloud Design Concept

It's now colored! Did this using Photoshop CS4 and 2 while at school. Tried a new shading style this time. This picture is less than 2000x2000 pixels. I think next time I'll try 4000x4000 for a sharper image.

This is my design of Marcus McCloud for a currently un-existing future Star Fox game. And, in case you're wondering, the sunglasses that he is wearing once belonged to his grandfather James McCloud; given to him by Peppy Hare on his 17 birthday.

I'd like some feedback on this design concept.

Eager to show his potential, Marcus turns from his unfinished training at the Corneria Flight Academy and embarks on a journey to solve the mystery of the late disappearance of his father. Alone if need be. But lucky for him, he has a band of friends willing to follow him, each for their own reasons.
